Sunday Brunch - Shading and Lighting
So I'm finishing up week two of Shading and Lighting and honestly, I'm doing amazing so far. I do have to retake Art History next month before I move on to my next set of classes. I am holding a steady A+ in Shading and Lighting so I'm hoping that I keep that up and try to redeem myself before I graduate with an amazing GPA. I know everyone says that it doesn't matter but to me it does. I did so poorly in high school because I just didn't have it in me or the proper help to do what I wanted to do in high school and I could have done amazing if I had the chance, and now I have the chance and this is what I want to do with my life and I want people to see that. Becoming an environmental artist or character artist is my absolute dream. I want to create the games that people like myself sit and just go, "Wow, this is amazingly detailed and amazingly created." I won't bee 100% perfect but I know if given the chance, I will be absolutely amazing with what I do. Which is why I am trying so hard to blow my grades out of the water and make good grades. I've struggled, we all struggle. However, this is my chance to redeem myself.
I am hoping to do that this month in Shading and Lighting and again next month in Art History. After Art History I have college math, which is not my strong points so hopefully I can do good without having to retake that class and just blow my way through the rest of school.
It's crazy to think that I only have another year and a half to go. The first year has gone by so quickly that I blinked and here I am. I have to start saving so I can plan my graduation and go there and walk that stage.
I so desperately wish my grandmother was around to see her wishes for me and see me graduate college. She got to see me graduate high school but she wanted to see me graduate college as well. I know she will be watching over me as I do so and there with me. I feel her energy everyday when I do good.
Back on track. After the work I did this week and the practice, I've also come up with a few more ideas for my Boho Bedroom scene. So I'm hoping to put that into play in the upcoming days but I have found myself to have an extremely busy schedule and doing a lot so we will hope that all works out.
