3D Animation Frustrations - Hammer Swing
I have been up since 7, and it's now 3 in the afternoon. I have been going non-stop with this stupid hammer swing animation. I had it good once and I'm not sure why I deleted it. I should have went with it because now I'm about to be done with it.
This is the weighted assignment, so it's not like I can just be done with it and do something else. I mean I could but that would get me no where. I also have a million and one distractions around me and constantly having to stop for the million and one distractions is a bit overrated at this point.
I've watched my lecture and the podcasts multiple times in order to get this down. Not sure why I'm struggling so bad. Maybe because it's me trying to make this fun and legit when I could just do something simple to show I know the basics. He says to "act it out" like we are doing it but I'm not swinging a rubber mallet every day of my life to know how this works. So I'm trying to go by how I hammer and that's a bit different.
Looking at my upcoming classes however, I finally have been put back into my Fundamentals of Art II class that I have to retake and then deal with that tool again, I will probably have so many blog posts during that month people will be sick of reading my blog. You have NO idea the crap I went through with that professor though. After that looks like 3D Animation II so I will have a break from Animation for a month before continuing on with my Project and Portfolio class for 3D Arts. More than likely that class is going to involve animation, yay. Though I'm not going to lie, I LOVED my previous portfolio class which involved modeling a scene from ground up. This is probably going to involve animation of some sort from scratch (Inserts small and sarcastic "yay" here).
I'm considering taking a break from my assignment today. I have tonight and tomorrow to work on it, it is due on Monday. It would give me a chance to just relax for a moment so I don't throw my laptop or start screaming at the floor or walls or something.
