Boho Style Bedroom - Maya Side Project - Second Day
So it's a new day. I haven't done a lot with this today as I have been busy and have a lot to do with school and everything else going on in this hectic thing called life.
So basically all I have done is decor items. I did move a picture frame on the wall to another location because when I created the decor box for the desk, I didn't like how it looked. I made two standing picture frames, a medium and small one, some books, a pencil holder, and a pot holder (without the plant right now). I will be working on the plant on another day because plants are not my strong point. I'm just currently working on the little decor. I haven't decided if I want to place a desk lamp or not, I may make a cute little tray and put a few candles in it but I'm not entirely sure just yet.
With what I have to this point I really am liking how it is looking. This is really going to take a bit of time not only to block everything out but to then go back and add all the details and make it all look pretty legit.....and pretty. I don't know what all I want to add decor wise to the book shelves or the shelves on the wall, I know there will be lots of plants so I will probably work on the pot holders first and place them before I start on the lovely and tedious plants.
I thought I would become overwhelmed with the amount of modeling I would have to do for this, only I find I get overwhelmed just trying to find decor I want to add. I have decided that after this I'm going to do other rooms of a house as well in all different styles. I came across a kitchen and a living room I would LOVE to do but I am not going to try and tackle multiple different projects at one time or I will become overwhelmed and it just won't be pretty in the end. I've learned though that while Maya brings me frustration at times that I find myself getting lost in time with the modeling and setting up the scene as I want it to look. To me it's like I have moved into a room and buying furniture, putting it together, and buying the decor to make it look like something I would live in. The Boho style is a style I adore and love but never have been able to make a room look like it because I'm a huge freaking gamer with a mass amount of collectibles. I would need an apartment of my own that is two bedroom just so my bedroom could be Boho and the second bedroom can be for my gaming stuff and the collectibles. I would love to be able to make another bedroom within Maya that is nerdy style with different consoles, games, computer set up, and so on but that would probably take me ages because I would want to model every single thing possible that I could and set it up to pure perfection, haha!
With this said, this is my update on the side project today. I will be working on school work and I have live workshop tonight (which is not the same as class I have learned) and will probably work on some school stuff at that point and then maybe pick this up again later in the night hours.
Until my next update on the Boho Style Bedroom.....
